This cool public viewing panel on George St Sydney, caught my eye and inside I saw sculptor-carver Jacek Luszczyk, one of six stonemasons at work restoring Sydney Town Hall

PERFORMANCE ART

The elaborate capital artistically carved from Pyrmont sandstone will be attached to the top of a column on the clock tower, where 10 are being replaced because of the affect of pollution & weather

Restoration is part of a four year, $33 million project to preserve the historic Town Hall, which also had a $40 million internal refurbishment in 2008. The clock-tower dates back to 1873
