Fashion: Contemplating the Past

In the lead up to the MERCEDES BENZ FASHION WEEK AUSTRALIA, in Sydney, I thought I would post a favourite family image of past fabulous fashion. This my beloved Nana, Father and Mother going to a wedding in 1962.

I just love that they're wearing gloves and little veils and my mums' three rows of pearls. And doesn't my dad look dashing in a bow tie, with his James Dean hair style.

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia, Spring Summer 2012/13 is running from 30 April to 4 May 2012.
